Topic Dog Boards / General / Staywell Dog Flap

Can anybody help me with this.

We had a dog flap fitted to our conservatory last October. It is a large aluminium size one. The problem we are having is the flap itself. It keeps on coming out of the fixings. We have tried to put it back in place but it has about ten attachment parts that you have to fit into a groove on the main frame. I have spoken to Staywell and they have said that they just clip back into place. My husband and I have both tried and in the end I managed to get them in by prizing them in with a knive. They didn't go back in properly and so they keep coming unattached

Has anybody else had this problem that maybe can give me some advise of reattching it back to the frame !

Thanks

Lucy

I had a large staywell dog flap and had nothing but problems with it it too kept coming out and my puppy would then chew it up,I had 10 deplacment flaps and in the end they refused to replace it so I gave up!!!!!!!!!!

hi
we also have medium staywell with no problems, but prior to this we had a large staywell cat flap which did much the same as yours, by all accounts, my other half fixed it with a stick and some wire from memory, we had to buy a new one eventually. Sorry, no help!
