Hi Leigh, I have passed that address on thanks very much.

But I thought you might like to know that the vet my puppy owner visited was appalling. She was smoking in the consultation rooms and had to be asked to put it out. She was then asked to wash her hands and she refused. When my puppy owner was rudely asked why she was there, she replied to have a health exam and 8 week vaccinations, the vet then said that this puppy was far too big to be 8 weeks old and was she sure.... of course she was sure that the puppy was 8 weeks old. The vet then turned away and said she didnt give vaccines until 9 weeks and to come back. The vet refused to examine the puppy and just said 'she looks ok to me' without touching her... My puppy owner then asked about worming and the vet just said come back next week.

I think this vet should be reported... what do you think....?

The laurels is a good vets, i also take my dogs there, and the police dogs when i am working, i usually see jackie dennis, if she isnt already fully booked!!!!!!.

Jackie Dennis doesn't work there anymore. I think she retired :-)
How are you getting on with your cocker now? Has she settled in ok?

As far as i know she still works there she still does our dogs at work, she just isnt one of the partners of the practice anymore, as for buffy she is doing fine, just got to get some weight on her and grow her coat then i can start showing her, that will be a whole new experiance, have already started taking her to ringcraft and she is doing well just have to keep my fingers crossed and see how she gets on.

My contact, where you work, didn't seem to think so, but I suppose he could have got it wrong :-) I am pleased to hear that Buffy is doing so well for you too. Keep us posted on how she goes. Which ringcraft class do you use? I really must get Bear to ringcraft again!

The ringcraft club i use is run by pam mowet at the sea cadets hall on ruxley corner on wednesday nights start at 8pm everyone is really nice there its i think £2 to join and £1 on the night and there is a match night at the end of every month hope this is of some help.

Oooooo thats nice and close. The one I use at the moment is very nice but mainly toy breeds. I spend all my time trying to stop Bear standing on them or trying to retrieve them :rolleyes: Thanx for the info.
