We are interested in buying a Hungarian Vizsla - we used to live in Suffolk.
We now live in France and walk 4+ miles everyday, have a house and garden in 3 acres and are looking for a dog/bitch that is gentle, intelligent, obedient and affectionate. We are 50/51 yrs old and very fit and really enjoy the outdoor life. We are semi retired headteachers and we live in an area of France famed for hunting deer, boar and stag. We also like cats and hope to have a puppy and kittens at the same time - we have not heard that Vizslas are unfriendly to cats.
Can you advise us on obtaining a puppy - we are more than happy to travel to England for a suitable puppy who will be loved and well exercised.

Hi i own a lovely vizsla puppy called chelsea, And i use to show her mother which was top vizsla 2003, Her mother lived a cat and had no problems. also they are lot of vizsla breeders around, and there is a vizsla welfare. If you ring jackie who writes are breed notes in the dog paper, 07814062667,or i no of a good breeder in luton called the upton;s top breeders of vizsla 01582 581806. I hope this helps you or you could go on kennel club website to find vizsla litters that are registered. good luck, from tasha and my ginger girl
