Our mini schnauzer is a lovely dog who is now just over 2 years old. In terms of behaviour she is quite boisterous and probably shows signs of being quite dominant when she is with other dogs (defintely little dog is big dogs clothing!). My daughter is desperate for another pup sometime this year and I must admit I am quite keen - in particular she is interested in a CKCS. My question is how do you think my mini schnauzer would cope with this - my husband thinks she would feel quite rejected and probably bully a new pup??!!
Thanks

I think it would take some careful research to find the right CKCS with the right temperament to live happily with your existing dog, as CKCS's tend to be much gentler dogs.

I thought that might be the case. Poppy our Mini S. is quite a rufty tufty dog - definitely not what I'd call gentle (but, she is lovely with it and her most of her behaviour is a bit of a front really!!! It might be an idea if we let her mature a little more (she has just turned 2) and then maybe we could try and find some breeders to discuss this with.
Thank you again
Karen.
