MY Staffie is having her first season and she seems to have no bladder control..she seems to dribble when she walks around and is weeing more than normal.

Is this usual????

Thie things I've seen in the last 3 months

Bitches often "forget" housetraining when they are in season.  However, she should not be dribbling urine.  Are you absolutely sure it is urine and not fluid from her vagina?

Personally, I would see the vet.

Hi blondiflops.  I went through 6 duvets due to my staff weeing the bed when she had her first season.  She seemed to pee all the time.  I don't know if this is the case for all breeds but it didn't matter how many times she went outside she still had loads to leave all over the house.  I had her spayed after this so cannot comment on whether it improves during subsequent seasons.

Yes she seems to need to wee all the time and what I have found quite strange is she is still bleeding and we are on day 17.....is this normal?

I couldnt sday to be honest whether then dribbling is urine or yellow fluid as it look the same but she is still spotting blood...

My bitches tend to bleed for the full season, whether or not they're mated.

I would make a visit to your vet. One of my bitches gets cystitis with every season and is the same as your girl. She doesn't realise that she is weeing. A course of anti-biotics when her season starts always sorts her out. This may not be the case with your bitch but it might be worth while getting it checked out.
