hi my yellow lab had 7 puppies on 29TH dec this was her first litter, didn't she do well.she had 2 golden and 5 black i was a bit disapointed that there was no yellow like mum. but mum and puppies are all doing fine.this is also my first time breeding so i am a bit anxious that i am doing it correctly,i am giving my dog tess lactol along with her meals is this right shirley

Shirley, your puppies are yellow (and black too!) because 'golden' labradors don't exist! The ones that aren't black or chocolate are yellow, which ranges from very pale cream to fox red.

yes i now know this as i have recieved their papers back from the kennel club , everyone learns from their mistakes but thanks for letting me know shirley
