I am interested in obtaining information about mating my black
female with a predominately black male. She is 21/2, never bred, and
will be in season in a May. I have not yet had her hips certified, but
will do so in the near future. She is intelligent and of good
temperment. Her sire is Des Zak Dus (DL609678/05) and her dame is Misty Von
Koloff Fox (DL666473/05).
If you are interested in mating them, would you please provide
me with photos and other details about him. I, of course, would want
to know the stud fee.
Thank you!

And a stud owner will want to know her hip score which is what???
Archer

It is for you to research her pedigree & insure all the males were haemophillia tested & I suggest you go back to her breeder & ask them for advice as to a suitable male
The male should be hip scored(the hip certificate/breeders letter sheme anded many years ago & was replaced by the scoring system)& haemophillia tested she should not be bred from if her score is morw than 20 or is lop sided(ie 2:18)
Joining a GSD club such as the GSD League & Club of GB or contacting the Breed Council will be of use for you
BTW breeding for colour alone is not advisable, better to find a stud dog who has produced good quality puppies from bitches of similar brreding to yours
From the registration numbers she is registered with the Dog Lovers Club or maybe I'm reading it wrong.
If she is DLC registered, then you will not be able to get full hip scores done, this is only done for KC reg dogs, the best you will get is your vets opinion and unless they are really up to their job, that doesn't mean too much. I would doubt that any reputable stud dog owner would be interested in letting you use their dog.

She can be reg on the activities KC reg then she can be scored, but the KC won't necessarily register her puppies as GSD even on the activities register

Just curiosity, but is the OP in the UK, what looks like a tel no. is listed under her signature, not UK
you may be right Kayc. Never looked at that part!
Just a thought, but could it be a mobile telephone no. but with the last three digits at the back instead of the front? Presume her name is Barbara Preston, she may have typed it in word and copied & pasted into this program as some of the type looks centred?????

Yes you could be right SashaK. talk about cryptic :D , and Worthington is in Leicestershire so I would assume the DL in the reg no. is Dog Lovers

Nope, not enough no's to be a mobile no. Should be 11 digits

USA maybe?

From the phrases used I would say so too. Female rather than bitch, Certified rather than scored, never bred rather than never mated/bred from, etc.
Guest you will need to have your bitch x-rayed and certified by OFA, and I would contact the National and Regional breed clubs for reccomended stud owners. You can get the deatails from the American Kennel Club Website, whcih also has useful articles about breeding etc.
