hello i am diane i have just mated my two year old brindle bitch abbey for the first time. i took to the stud on her tenth day but she wasnt ready, then again on the twelth day at which they tied. she has been subdued ever since also she ceased loosing discharge three days later.I would like to know if she is more than likley to be pregnant. also could any one simplifiy how colour genetics work i am interested what colours abbey is likley to produce. as i said abbey is brindle like her mum, her dad was red. the stud was blue as were four generations before him. i would be extremely grateful for any help on these questions thankyou
hello Diane, i couldnt tell you if she pregnant you will have to get her seen by a vet or have a scan best doing this about 28 days ( i wish i could tell over the net id be a millionare!!) anyway as far as colours go i think you could get anything from blue, brindle possibly even a pure red or black but i would imagine the most likely outcomes would be brindle or blue good luck with your bitch, was it a well known stud dog you used? why dont you join and tell us more ? xx

i would say as for colour you may get just brindles, i dont think you will get any reds and you may be pushed to have any blues unless your bitch carries blue. so brindles and maybe a blue brindle or 2
