My litter is 3 weeks old, just up on their feet, playing, barking just doing the norm.  But when they start to get vocal mum seems to get really worried, she cries, paces, as though she doesn't really know what to do with them.  Is this normal as I've never had it before with any of my previous litters.

It's definitely not eclampsia as mum hasn't had any milk from day 1 and I'm hand rearing the litter...........do you think maybe she realises she can't help the pups by feeding??
