Hi,

I wondered if anyone has this book by Angela Ibbotson?
The first full page picture of a GSD in woods, on the page before the contents pages is the spitting image of my dog.
Does anyone happen to know the who bred him??

Thanks

Julie

Hi Julie,
I have the book too, lovely looking dog very much like mine, only mine's got a darker face. If you look on page 80 and see Blueboy, he is my girl's great grandfather. Would it be any good writing to the Publisher's, do you think?  Or asking the breeder of your dog, in case yours is related to the one in the book. Sue x

Is there not a credits in the book for the photos used?? Angela Ibbotson holds the IBBspar affix, perhaps they are her own dogs, which descend from Roy Brandons Lornaville Lines. I havent seen the book, so cannot tell you myself.

Thanks Charm,
No there are no credits for the photos, but your message was very interesting in so much as there are photos of Ch. Ibbsparr Mr President, from pup to Champion and Lornaville dogs and their Pedigrees. The dog in question is a long coated Shepherd which I don't think hers are. Thanks for the info anyway. Sue
