Hi i have a 2 and a half year old dogue that i have just bred on her day 11 and 13 is this too late and the other problem is that  they did not tie is there a chance she could have still caught? It was her first time. Any info on this would be really appreciated

The last two litters that we have had resulted from two matings each time with no tie.

My last litter was the result of matings on days 18 and 20. It all depends when your bitch ovulated.

thanks, we phoned the vet for an ovulation test to be performed but they didn't do this so i have read several books (the book of the bitch) and went to what that said so we are hoping for the best. Going to try and mate her again on friday to see if she will still stand.

I don't like matings without a tie, but if the dog gets in far enough and stays there for a minute or two, they can be effective.  The problem is that they often don't get in far enough.
