Is it OK for a young puppy to growl when he's playing with a toy by himself or should I try to stop him doing this? He's 11 weeks old and when he's excited he runs up and down the room with a toy in his mouth, making a constant noise like grrrr, grrrr, grrrr - but he's not growling at us, just at the toy. He's usually shaking it as well.

Ok to remind you of the other side.

How about

when you get up in the morning and all you smell is puppy poo
you wrestle them to clean them out, bathing if need be.
Forever cleaning them out and they always poo and run and roll in it
just as visitors are due.

You walk like an idiot in case you tread on one because they arent happy
to stay in the whelping box anymore and are running around your living room,
The TV has to be turned up because they are wrestling each other
and you cant hear a thing.

The list goes on :-)

LOL!!!

When Chloe had her 11 nearly 4 years ago they could widdle and poo for England.  I spent all my days shovelling food in one end and clearing up the other!!!

And the racket they made when playing.  I don't think Sasha ever grew out of it - she still wrestles her mother and makes the most awful din doing it!
