You can book tickets for Crufts by calling the NEC Box Office Ticket Hotline on 0870 909 4133, or via their website www.necgroup.co.uk  I believe you receive a discount if you purchase tickets for all four days, in advance. Of course you can always pay on the 'door' on the day too.

As for hotels I'd start searching now as many will be booked, and the price may increase nearer the time!

Good Luck :)

If you go to the kennel club website then click on Crufts and then box office you can order there.  There are 4 day tickets that are cheaper.

going for the first time this year and cant wait.  Going on the Sunday to see the final and the working and pastoral groups.

I heard a lot of news last year about people not being able to get in because of the traffic queues.  Can anybody recommend a time to get up there.  I know it opens at 9 but I would rather be there early and not miss a thing.

Hi
I'm going to crufts for the 1st time this year!!, my 10yr old daughter is going with me as a special treat-I booked today on-line with the k.c. We are only going on the Friday (toy & utility)the tickets stated opens at 08.15, I was hoping to get the train, can anyone tell me if the train station is anywhere near the NEC?
Sorry Georgina I don't know of any local hotels..
- By Jeangenie [gb] Date 06.01.05 22:11 UTC
Yep, the railway station is within the NEC complex.

Didn't hear about the getting in trouble (no more then norm) but there was trouble getting out!!!!

Get their whenever you like, it doesn't seem to make a difference what time you get there, it still takes along time, just leave with plenty of spare time :)

Hi there was trouble getting in at least one of the days because of the NEC being double booked last year, heard about some exhibitors who missed their classes because of it.  Hopefully that wont happen this year as its not booked with anything else.Gillian

Central Guest house on Conventry Road 0121 7067757 is cheap, there are quite a few on Coventry road and it is just 2 mins from NEC

We stayed at The Inn keepers last year and they room was very nice, food was good etc  Also on Coventry road just 2 mins.

Another one is  Days Inn

Hope this helps
