I have recently lost my 11 year old irish setter to cancer.  I am now looking for a companion for my english setter, preferably a pup upto 1 year old.  Can anyone please help?

Hiya guest!

There is a big difference between gordan and red and white setters.  Size is one thing.  All 4 of the setters are different.  If you wish for further information on the red and white, and I can give a little about gordans aswell feel free to e-mail me at chatterbox@roanjora.co.uk

With both breeds do your research, only buy from a reputable breeder who health checks their dogs and wants to do best for the breed.

Good luck

Hiya Guest

As the previous post said there are quite a few differences between Setters. I'm sure if you do a search on here for Gordon Breeders you will find the puppy you are looking for. I have two Irish and one Gordon, If you want more information my email address is Redsetgirl@aol.com, also if you let me know where in the country you are looking I could help to point you in the right direction.
