hello happy new year all,i wondered how often does a mom feed her pups, is it on demand ,and how do you know theyre getting enough,when do u decide to top them up,or is it better not to do this

Yes on demand.
Hungry pups will cry & won`t be settled, if they`re getting enough milk they will be contented till the next time they`re hungry. I wouldn`t top up unless there was a prob of some sort. My last litter was 10 & mum had enough for them till they were 3wks when I started topping them up with goats milk.
