Topic Dog Boards / Visitors Questions / Trying to find breeder of black labs

I am trying to find the breeder of a litter of black labradors in Fulmer Bucks about 4 years ago.  We bought her when she was 5 months old, she was purchased from a breeder in Fulmer by Craig Young (who we got her from), but he never went back to collect her papers.  The Breeders moved from Fulmer 2 years ago and as Holly (our lab) is now pregnant we would very much like to obtain her registration documents.  If anyone can help we would be very grateful.

Since you don't have any registration papers, presumably your bitch was mated without having any health tests done - like hip scoring and eye testing? Sorry, but that's not very responsible and the best thing to do is to hope you can find loving permanent homes for these pups purely as pets at a very reduced price, without papers. Even so, if one of the puppies turns out to have an inherited condition for which you have not tested, the owner could take you to court for selling a substandard puppy (not very likely, but possible) Your bitch may never have been KC Reg or could have an endorsement which means her pups couldn't be registered anyway. Even if she was there are so many Labs registered that, unless you are very lucky, you will need a lot more information to trace her pedigree. You could try contacting the Lab Club
