Hi everyone
I have decided to train to be a dog groomer and have made enquires at my local college and the next professional course is due to start next September. They also run a separate course that starts 7th Feb for 6 weeks which is an introduction to the basics of dog grooming specifically designed to teach you how to groom your own dog and requires you to attend with your dog. As my lab passed away in November I am now without a willing model and wondered if there was anyone out there that lives near to York that would be willing to lend me their own lab for an evening class once a week for six weeks. I promise to look after them for you and make them look beautiful and will pick up and return your lab if transport is a problem. I really think it would be good experience prior to the professional course for myself and great fun for a dog who loves water and fuss. Anyone who is interested please contact me.

I will no longer be requiring to borrow a dog for a model for my college course as I have had some excellent advice and am now going to attend a profesional dog grooming school where the models are provided as part of the course.
Any more advice from people out there will be much appreciated though and thanks for reading.
