Can anyone helpus to find a suitable puppy? My daughter has eczema that reacts to various types of dog(all animal) hair. We have visited lots of wonderfull people who have tried to help and have come to the conclusion that we need a Labradoodle crossed with a Standard Poodle puppy. We are willing to wait for the right puppy and if anyone can help please contact us.My mobile number is 07710 893995 and we live in East Anglia. Thank You

Please do not beleive that a LabroXanything will be what you need, it may be but it may well not. Are you sure that your daughter is reacting to the 'hair' it may well be the 'dander' dust and skin debris have a skin test before you make a decision to have a pet of any kind. If it is hair then go for one of the breeds that does not shed and not a x-breed. JH

One of the problems of crosses is that you don't know what you will get. You may be trying for example to get the labrador temperament together with the poodle coat, there is nothing to say you won't get a poodle temperament with a labrador coat, and labs are not noted for their allergy free coats!

I would say have a pedigree dog. If You have a Labradoodle then if it has a skin or coat problem vets and specialists will know more about the coat type.If your daughter wants a hairy coat but not to hard to manage then get a GSD or a German Wirehaired Pointer they arn't to hard coats to manage only need a striping knife every week or so and only for about 10mins. I'm not an expert but don't go for a breed people know about.
