Charlie keeps getting an upset tum, he has spent a night a the vet as there is blood in his stool, numerous trips to check he is ok but we cannot seem to get to the bottom of it? He has not gained any weight since being with our family. On chicken and rice he is fine but as soon as he goes back to puppy food it starts over. He was being fed pedigree puppy food by the breeder who has said he was fine on that?? I have also tried Iams.  Are westie's prone to upset tums? Does anyone know what the best diet for them is? He is a happy, lively little soul with an adorable personality but it cannot be pleasant for him.  It is also difficult to house train your pup when he has no control of his bowel movements...He has been with us for a month now and is 11 weeks old. Please help..

Has he been wormed properly?

Is he being over fed at all?

Westies are not prone to tummy troubles.

Tripe and a light possible holitic mixer is what a lot of westie people feed their dogs.
