my boxer aged 1 year old is very thin looking, been feeding her on green tripe mixed in with her complete dog food, she weighs 3 1/2 stone but does not look like it,still has not had her first season is there anything else i can give her without causing her the scoots(upset belly.vets said not to worry too much as boxers are like that until they have had there first season....she is still very hyper and fit....

Hi

Boxers are not my breed but all "lady" boxers I have seen have always been on the trim and elegant side. To me it's one of their attractions - I think they are a lovely looking dog.

If you're vet's not concerned and her actual weight is OK and she's fit and healthy I wouldn't worry any more. Are you showing her and is it that that you are worried about?
