Hi just wondering if anyone had experienced their puppy being sick after having worming tablets? We took our GSD puppy to the vet`s yesterday she had her 2nd injection an he gave us two worming tablets.Well the pup was sick in the car last night on the way back so i thought i`d wait till tonight to give them to her.I gave them to her before she had her dinner now she`s been sick about 6 times do you think it`s the worming tablets and if so will she need some more?
Thanx Andy

I'd get in touch with your vet if she's been sick that many times.  Did you weigh her etc. and make sure that you gave her the right amount of worming tablets.  I've known people to kill their dogs by giving the wrong dose.  Hope all's OK with her.

I've seen many cases of puppies and dogs vomiting after being wormed.   It is often best to leave it two weeks and use a different brand, or even use a separate roundworm and tapeworm wormer given at different times.

Also puppies should not be wormed at the time of vaccination - it can cause their bodies to go into stress overload.
