I went to some kennels today, the type where they sell a variety of pups to people who don't know any better.  I went to get a certain type of bone for my dog.  Only cause I couldn't get it at my local shop.  Whilst we were there we looked in on the pups.  Plenty being sold I might add.  There were 3 weimaraner pups and they were in appauling condition they looked like something off Animal Hospital when they find a starving dog.  It really shocked me.  No way should they be sold to anyone.  (Or maybe some one would be tempted just to save the poor things).  There were also some bassett hounds there in a similar condition.  The other pups there seemed ok a few runny eyes but otherwise ok.  I feel like reporting the state of these pups but I don't know who to.  The RSPCA? I can't get these poor little things out of my mind.  Any suggestions.

Wouldnt the Local Authority be the ones responsible for the granting of the licence to operate ?

Border Collie Lvr - are you on about the pet shop thats in Sutton, Surrey? I've seen them advertising lots of breeds (collies included, which really p****d me off) on free ads websites, have emailed all the owners of the websites but so far only 1 website has removed them. I cant help thinking about them, the poor things. So glad that there are no pet shops round here that sell dogs.
