I am sure one of you will have the answer to this.

So far as I am aware, unless the breeder of a puppy has a signed contract to say that the purchaser is aware of any endorsements on the puppy, then the KC will not uphold the endorsement.

Is this correct and if so whereabouts does it state this in KC Rules?????

Have a look here KC

If that link doesn't work, go to the KC site and type ENDORSEMENTS into the search engine, the article is the 017.02 one :)

(Edited as the link DIDN'T work :( )

Thanks Mel

That was exactly what I was looking for.  My mate will be delighted at the news.

I've just been through this and the KC will only lift the restrictions if they were not applied within the KC regulations and they will contact the breeder to confirm there was no contract in writing!!!.  I'm waiting for mine at the moment it takes time so start the process ASAP preferably before you mate the dog.  My pups are almost ready to go and i started this when they were a week old, still don't have the paperwork so i have been unable to advertise them.
