Thanks John & Kay that's the breed name that I was after! It was a beautiful girl dog although the owner said the breed was rare in this country i.e England! Does it really have webbed feet though? I am finding a lot of websites of info now I have found the name Thanks again, Becky.

they do have webbed feet, but like any breed, not like a duck! lol  not even as much as a breed such as a newfoundland!
