I remember being told by our breeder when we had ours as puppy to give her eggs or weetabix or porridge for the first meal of the day. We gave her eggs simply because that was what the breeder was giving her at the time. She didnt take to weetabix or porridge very much when we tried to vary her breakfast. She still has eggs now at 9month old, saying that she will finish my Husband's porridge off in the morning if he lets her!
We also have a staffy book that says porridge is ok as well. Dont know about the honey although it must be good for them I suppose

I have fed all of my pups on porridge made with goats milk, cows milk upsets their tummies. I never did sweeten it and it didn't bother them one iota ;) So go for it if your dog enjoys it :)

The cows milk i make his porridge with is Cravendale Milk, The breeder i got him from told me that ordinary cows milk upsets there tummy, Cravendale is fine it does not affect him. Thanks for the great advice, I think champdogs is Fab.
