I was out walking yesterday with the dog and someone stopped to stroke him and speak to him then told me what a lovely and well behaved dog he was :)  Now I know this stranger didn't have a dog with them, but even so it was so nice for someone to praise Cops instead of yelling at me that he shouldn't be allowed out (he barks at dogs).

Made my day.  Maybe the training is beginning to pay off at last :)

Well done CG - you must be really proud of him (and pleased with yourself!) :)

Ah yes lol, his programme with other dogs!  It's funny because he's absolutely perfect indoors and out with my mum's spaniel and he must recognise the spaniel even at a distance outside because he doesn't bark.

Other dogs in the street/park/beach etc - there is just no hope, although he doesn't struggle quite as much now on the lead, just barks, so I suppose he has improved.

He's hard work but I love him :)
