Is this the one with sugar as one of the main ingredients???........ I know Jollyes in Milton Keynes used to sell it, but when I looked at the ingredients list, I did wonder what it would do to dogs teeth......

Tesco's used to stock it, but I've only ever bought it once. Worth a try though:)

thanks for the suggestions,would make life easier, he likes his dinner with gravey on and wont touch it for a few days without, got me under his paw i know.

have you tried adding an oxo cube instead?  oh and obviously water.  This is what we did for a treat with ours either the chicken or the beef, they arent fussy.

Just as sugar isn't good for dogs teeth, the high salt (sodium) content in stock cubes isn't good either :(

Why not try buying a few chicken carcasses or some wings etc and make a stock.You can make up a good quantity then freeze

i did try oxo once and he was really sick, so cant try that again. he has complete dry food, sometimes he eats and sometimes he doesnt we were thinking about changing him to wet food and biscuits and see how we get on. i know you never see a dead dog by a full food bowl but he is stubbourn

Have you tried putting hot water in with his dry complete food? Usually this make a nice bit of 'gravy' as the fats come out of the food. I had to do this with one of my old dogs...wouldnt eat it otherwise!! And you aren't the only one ever to get sucked into pandering to their dogs dietary whims!! But I would be careful about these 'dog gravy's' you can get. I know they are jam packed with empty calories and sugars.
