My family love dogs and I am an experienced dog owner used to have an Irish Wolfhound and a Dalmation. I have 2 kids and I realized my 9 year old girl is allergic to dogs that sheds especially like Golden Retreiver, Anatolian Shepherd and German Sherperd. She also had slightly allery reaction on my Irish Wolfhound (Itchy & watery eyes, running nose). Since my Irish Wolfhound pass away 2 years ago, I dare not to have another dog but actually my family is very eager to have one.
According to the dog breed information, Giant Schnauzer sheds very little to non. Can any experience Giant Schnauzer owner or breeder can give me more information or advice if a Giant Schnauzer is a right choice for my family?
Thanks!

It is not the hair that causes the problem but the skin debris, it would be best for your lass to go to one or two kennels to make sure the breed you want will be OK. You may find a non-sheddng dog will be the answer, but it may not. Hope you can find something suitable. JH
