sorry wont let ne sign in.
on the 29 nov My bitch had a litter of 5 puppies all weighing between 6 and 7 oz, She had a long labour and quite stressful,The vet was called he gave her oxytocin and a antibiotic injection she did not produce milk for the first 4 hours, All the puppies were checked by my vet and by the 30 nov one female puppy started to lose weight rapidly and was passing loads of blood the vet was called and pts the pup, the following day the another female pup was starting to go downhill I have done everything possible with this pup to keep her alive and healthy but today she also started to loose blood and screem so she to has been pts, The three remaining litter mates all seem to be fine they are all eating well developing normal and weigh just over a pound each, But my vet did warn me that any of these pups could go the same way, Or though he said sometimes it does not affect the whole litter, So I am now watching these puppies like a hawk and praying for the first time in my life.

Please read this post - http://www.champdogsforum.co.uk/board/topic/39665.html

To the best of my knowledge bleeding PR is not typical of FPS but even if it doesn't help the treatment Anne-Marie suggests is simple and is most unlikly to do any harm.

Anne-Marie has moved abroad and I don't know if she still uses the board, but my own vets used the method with miraculous results on a litter I hand reared earlier this year. So if Anne-Marie doesn't come along and post you are welcome to PM me. I'll be happy to put your vet in contact with my practice if he wants more details.
