Dear All,  I'm looking for a dog that is excellent with children and other animals, and who also is going to guard my family and my property.  Any ideas please?

Hi Guest - what ages are your children, how big is your house? Do you have a garden? Do you work? What other animals do you have? When you say "guard" do you mean a dog which will be suspicious of strangers and give a warning when anyone is about?
