a friend offered me a dalmatian puppy but unfortunatly with out papers ... his parents are pedigree. I want to register the dog but have no idea how to go about it with out the parents and owners details.I know that the parents live in south east london.possibly Downham.

You will need to know the kennel names of the pups dam and sire and also the paperwork will have to be signed by the owners of the dogs. So the first thing to do is find out who owns the sire as I assume your friend has the bitch. However if you want a family pet and are not going to show or breed I would not worry, papers do not make the dog one jot better company. JH
PS I would ask that the pups hearing is tested before you agree to take it on, unless you do not mind looking after a pup that is deaf. Deafness in this breed is rather common.
