My friends pup has a horrible habit of eating the other dogs poo. As she is coming to stay with us this weekend I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to stop her as I cant be there all the time to catch her. Apart from this she is lovely and also enjoys eating her proper food.

My pup grew out of this at about 9/10 months, he still likes a nice lump of horse poo when he can get his paws on it though and just loves rolling in sheep droppings too.
We tried all the various tablets, courgettes and pineapple in his food nothing worked though. He's just grown up loving fruit and veg.
Sorry, it's a horrible habit I know......

Nicky, I've heard that pineapple chunks help. Buy a tin and try giving some with a meal. There is supposed to be something in pineapple that is missing in their diet. :D

She would probably eat it, if you can eat poo -you would think pineapple chunks would be a vast improvement. Yughy dog!!!! She does not get that one from her father, he was such a good puppy.
