Were off to visit a little dog on Saturday at a rescue in Fife. Theyre coming to do a garden/home check on Thursday. Saw him on their website and he is sooo cheeky. Bit small for me - collie size, hes  a 2 year old Special Mix who loves playing with balls but wont give em back. Should be interesting.... This is a private rescue which is overflowing already before Christmas. Well see how it goes.

We have a rescue Labrador and the joy she gives us is just wonderful.  we have 3 fabulous dogs and we love them all the same,  but out of them all she is by far the most loving it is as if these rescue dogs know we gave them a second chance at life. fingers and paws crossed for you.

Yes it is second chance. Thanks for the tip about the balls Kazz, I have a carrier bag full and my secret weapon - ball on a rope! OH worries Robbie is wary of men apparently but the chap I spoke to said it would take time and patience. Home check is on Thursday or Friday, we'll visit on Saturday. Thanks for your good wishes everyone.

One way to help the worry over men is to get your OH to feed your new dog that way he will be associated with positive rwarrds
