Topic Dog Boards / Visitors Questions / ****For CARENE regarding Rimadyl****

Hi, I'm Vet nurse in training. Rimadyl is used for pain relief in most cases. My Vet prescribes Marbocyl 20mg or 80mg, its AntiB for long low dose. This tends to do the trick. Thats very very expensive, though if packet is unopened you can be refunded aslong as wholesaler takes it back (so can be sold on). We sell Rimadyl which is now replaced by Norocarp per tablet. About 15 tablets works out about £14 max! Wow with your price....were in London too! I can't seem to register as member yet I have to change my browser settings. Kennel cough can stay with the dog months after cough stops so beware if that is the case, continued course of AntiBs work though Marbocyl is expensive but now way near that cost!
Hope you getb this, Kelly x

Thanks, Kelly. Luke has been prescribed Oxycare, an antibiotic, to treat the infection. The vet nurse who was supposed to ring me back last night went home and forgot! So I shall continue to pursue the matter today.

Apparently they had charged for 5 pots of tabs instead of 5 tabs!! So I've now been refunded £50.00.
