I know when cats are scared or worried they shed a lot of hair, do doge do this too when they are worried or scared?

Yes, I've known several dogs who have a worry moult. My sister, who lives at the other end of the country came to see us and brought her Working Sheepdog. It came in the house, saw my dogs and lost a fur coat's worth of hair! I don't think I've ever seen one quite so bad at it as her!

My dogs carpet the Vet's waiting room for him when they are waiting to be seen :D

And some pugs have a tendency to shed enormous amounts of hair whilst whelping ( bit like giving birth in a snow storm) :)
