i'm very impressed with all the information you have on your forum.  i should have introduce myself before but ive been kind of lurking although i did post one message.  i have to beautiful golden retrievers that i think may have mated 10/25/ im just wondering if there are any symptoms at 3 weeks of pregnancy.  she has become much more affectionate in the last couple of weeks and doesn't seem to want to play with her male companion anymore but has no physical signs yet. do you know when the vet can confirm if she is pregnant or not?  thanks again for all the wonderful information you all have on this forum.  If she is pregnant i will probably be back asking alot of questions!

Hi daisys mum, im also a mummy to Daisie not sure if any signs at three weeks maybe more clingy but for swollen teats and anything else i would think wait till at least 5weeks

Hi Daisy's Mom !  I would take her to the vets by the time you believe she is five weeks gone - they will be able to perform an ultrasound scan to be sure.  Like polly 45 suggested - look for swollen nipples and a clingy girlie. Good Luck !!

Daisy's progress.  i willbe taking her to the vet for a sonigram on her fith week although i think my vet only does xrays, i'm wondering if a sonigram would be safer for the pups?  do you think i should find another vet that does the sonigram?

Hiya - If I thought my bitch was in whelp, I wouldn't want to expose her to an x-ray - so would prefer to have an ultrasound/sonorgram instead. This way they can also check the heartbeat of the pups too :)

My dog is 4 weeks. As soon as she was mated I looked for teats they took alot of finding almost none exsistant but since 3 weeks they have got alot bigger. This week she as gone off her food and this morning she was a little sick.
