I have a boxer boy who is just turned a year old where is the best place to advertise him at stud and how much should I charge? Is £150 ok for an unproven dog? or should I charge more?

Have a read of the first post on the Breeding Forum of this site, and wait until your boy has had all his breed-relevant health checks. That's hip-scoring and heart-checking for certain (boxers having serious heart problems within the breed). The Breed clubs (listed at the bottom of the Breed Standard) would be able to advise you further.

Have you had all the health checks done. I don't mean to sound nasty, but most people on here are dog lovers, NOT MONEY MAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guest, please dont think im being heavy handed here but have you thought about what happens to all the unwanted dogs put into rescue every year, most breeders do it to improve on the breed standard not just to make a quick buck. but im not saying this is your intentions but please look at all the factors before letting your be used for stud purposes. regards polly_45
