i have a 17 week old puppy who was wormed every 2 weeks since getting her at 8, now at 16 as per the advice on packet ive to worm her every 4 which means she is due this week.

she is now rubbing her backside along the floor and it loos a little red.  is this to do with her needing wormed.

there is no blood in her urine.

please help if yous can

That is more likely a sign that her anal glands are full and need emptying.  Has she had soft motions recently?  A normal motion should be hard enough to roll onto a shovel, and not need to be scraped up.  It then should empty the glands when a motion is passed.  If a dog has been lose theh the glands can tend to fill up.

Your vet can show you how to empty them yourself, it is an unpleasnat task, which many people prefer to let the vet or groomer do :D
