I used to feed bailey on caesar which he enjoyed (bad wind though) changed to nature diet gets 1/2 pack per day + biscuit which he enjoys. The thing is some people tend to think its cheap food as it works out cheaper for me as i get 2 days from a pack the lady in the pet shop said it is their best seller I even found a change in his coat is caesar better food or is it the marketing?

Hi Bailey, you will find that naturediet comes very highly reccommended and is certainly not a cheap (poor quality) food. There are some who will go as far as to say that it's the best moist complete on the market. In that it is complete, you don't need to use biscuit meal as a mixer.

I use it and I would recommend it to anyone.

Naturediet have a mail order facility and it works out alot cheaper to buy in bulk. Mind you I feed 7 dogs so I get through over 100 packs a month. At the pet shop I was paying 63p a pack, the mail order price is the equivelent of 50p a pack.

Dawn R.

PS Great name, I have a Bailey too. Have I said that before to you?

I've currently got my two on Naturediet and I also buy in bulk - I'm not sure how practical that is for you, but my two get through 35 packs a week  I don't feed a mixer or any other addition to their food but I do give them recreational bones in order to keep their teeth clean :)

My 1 and a half Springers (the other half is BC) get 3/4 of a pack of Naturediet each per day, no mixer! (But they aren't particularly active). Cheap is relative - if it's made from cheap ingredients (which ND isn't) and a lot spent on marketing (which ND don't) then it isn't cheap in my opinion.  I prefer to spend my money on quality ingredients than marketing to try and convince me that recyled rubbish is better for my dog..........

Hi

Have just seen your post about nature diet, i am assuming that Bailey is the westie that suffered from stomach trouble, my westie called Hamish in 18 months old and has started with runny motion that keeps reoccuring, i switched from Eukanuba to Nutro but this does not seem to have corrected the problem, have you found that feeding the nature diet has corrected his stomach trouble as i am thinking perhaps of trying Hamish with this, you say that you feed him 1/2 a pack per day, is this in just 1 meal? What flavours of the feed do you give him as i have noticed there are several different packs available?

Thanks
Helen
