well my bitch went to be mated last wednesday and we are going to pick her up tomorrow from where the stud dog lives im so excited to see her i know it sounds daft but ive really missed her ive hated the thought of her being so far away in a strange place on her own.she was mated on day 14 and day 16 she stood both days tieing 20 mins the first time and 8 mins the second the stud we used is proven so fingers crossed does anyone know how many days before she can be scanned at the vets?

Congratulations hope all goes well.

But (and before anyone jumps on me for this, I shall take cover) I would have thought that before mating your bitch you should have made all the enquiries as to when scanning etc is possible.  If you have failed to do your research into this what other things have you missed out on learning about.

Get the book of the bitch it might help with a few things that you will definitely need to know to make things easier for your bitch.

hi  i have looked into breeding my bitch and no this isnt my first litter ive just never used scans before ive always waited untill i knew myself,ive done all the reseach into my breed and used one of the best stud dogs in my opionion,ive had all the tests done on my bitch and i dont think ive missed out on anything thanks anyway
