Sorry I'm new to this website and it has taken me a while to work around it.  I've now registered and am waiting for a password but wanted to thank everyone for their replies to my original posting.  They have certainly given me food for thought.  If anyone does now of a local breeder I live in Doncaster South Yorkshire.  Or please e-mail me it's Jayne Hill but my husbands e-mail address:  richard@hill1268.freeserve.co.uk.  Once again may thanks for your very supportive replies.

I'm glad we have given you food for thought Jayne. It is right that you should realise the down side. So many people go into buying a Labrador with little more knowlege than the Andrex advert and that is not the way to go about buying a living creature.

I've had Labradors around me for approaching 40 years and cannot imagine life without them. To me, they are worth all the trouble and work.

Sorry I'm not in your area so cannot point you at a litter but if there is any way I can help just get in touch.

Regards, John

How about Rocheby, Mr & Mrs Hopkinson, they are imo one of the best in show Labs, they are Doncaster.

BTW. The password should arrive straight away.
If you are on AOL there is a thread on FAQ's about it.
(I also have problems with f2s)

How about Mrs Hepper - her Affix is Mardas and she lives in Yorkshire - contact Labrador retriever club.
