MOVING LIVESTOCK
I have recently been told about the following, The AA say they will not relay vehicles containing animals, the RAC,  offer, for a small extra fee, a specialist livestock service. It was set up primarily for horses but they will cover all livestock. They will get the animals home and provide experienced help and a vet if necessary. We all breakdown at times has anyone experienced refusal. The AA have been contacted about this and I hope to hear their reply.

No breakdown service will guarantee the transportation of your dogs in the breakdown cabs, mainly because they use 3rd parties. So they ask you to keep the dogs in the car if they have to be transported; this can be a bit of a problem if they do not use a flat bed.

Personally I have never had a problem, all the guys that have picked me up (so to speak) have been fine about it.  I think it is Showstart? insurance that are the only ones who guarantee this.

If you do  a search on the AA this came up a while ago.
