I'm looking for an adult Deerhound spayed bitch or castrated dog (no intention of breeding). I live in a very rural location on a smallholding which fronts on to 200acre common.  Oct 2003 and May 2004 lots my beloved aged Hungarian Vizslas which we rescued 13 years ago and would like a Deerhound - does anyone know of one that say a breeder is parting with (can't breed, has too many etc). Have you tried contacting the Breed Rescue.  If you ring the Kennel Club they should be able to give you a number for rescue or the breed club.
