My GSP occasionally gets small bumps under her fur mainly on her back. These bumps are visible for about 2 days & then vanish without trace (there are no digs or scabs ) Has anyone experienced this or have any  clues on what could cause them? Thanks!

Owning a short coated gundog myself I think it may just be scratches from when you take them out for a walk - it would swell a bit for a couple of days.  Also it may be insect bites which do swell at first.  Not something I would worry about but you may want your vet to check it out as they can actually see the bumps for themselves.  If it were a hystiocytoma (a type of benign tumour) or any other type of tumour it would be there for longer.
