the uk dog club?
they look very similar to the DLRC but they are slightly cheaper £7 to register a pup, and get this, the stud dog does not need to be registered and if you dont like the name given to your dog by the breeder (presuming its pedigreed in the first place) you can change it for a fee of £5.
Id never heard of this until today, is this a new thing thats sprung up overnight?
They are supposedly in business for 5 years but ive never heard of them, has anyone else?
Dont want to put link up and give them free advertising.

ummmm...another money making trap for the unsuspecting. Doesn't matter what they call theirselves their registration is just a useless piece of paper.

I picked up on this afew months ago. As far as I know they are not a registered organisation or recognised like the Kennel Club are. If you register your dogs and pups with them it means nothing at all apart from you are paying for a piece of paper that has no come back.

I would personally stay clear as I kow of breeders that use them because they cannot register their pups with KC

I wasnt thinking of using them or anything like that, i was just concerned as there seems to be a trend just now for all these new registries and organisations being set up, I think it must be a money making scam but It makes you wonder how many people get taken in by it??? :-(

I cant understand why people pay to register with these outfits!  If they cant/wont register with the KC why bother with anything else?  If they want to con people into thinking the dog is something it is not, why not just print a certificate themselves, it would be just as valid (or invalid) as from one of these firms.  Just doesnt make sense wasting however many ££s they cost!  but have not heard of this one, I think, unless it is the one which is also trying to rung "alternative" shows?
bye
