Topic Dog Boards / General / Puppy sale contract
- By ManxPat [im] Date 22.10.04 22:54 UTC
Do people use contracts when selling puppies and if so I'd appreciate looking at a copy. A friend of mine has asked for help putting one together.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Patricia

T^here is a facility to coantact admin on this forum, so leave them full details of your complaint and the breeders details and I am sure they will get back to you aftter looking into the complaint, if the breeders are advertising against the terms of service of this site.
- By Brainless [gb] Date 10.01.05 09:23 UTC
Have you contacted the Pomeranina breed clubs rtegarding this person.  If they are a member of any of the clubs a substantiated complaint could have them in trouble under the terms of their code of ethics.  If they are not a person known within the breed, then it will give the secretaries a heads up about someone breeding that should be avoided if they are chating their buyers.

This isn't a club, Loveheart, just a message board, I believe Admin do vet which breeders they accept membership from in order to advertise litters elsewhere on the site to some degree but if you post contact details on the message board absolutely anyone can contact you using those details and admin have no control over that.
Your breeder can show without being a member of a breed club and I rather suspect she will not be a member of a breed club but you can always ring them to find out, you will find Breed Club details on the Kennel Club website.

hello :)
Hva done that...and the pups were registerd, Still no joy from me vendor though,Dont know what the problem is with not sending what they agree to, but I have been incontact with the right people and it will be sorted! one way or the other, wish it didn't have to be this way though, It's not nice. And against my nature, but I have been patient I think!I would call 2 years is being  patient.
loveheart.

Brilliant at least you know the litter was registered, so I hope that you get your papers soon.  I really can't see why the breeder is hanging on to them, after all if they wanted to protect their line from being bred on haphazardly then they only needed to have restrictions put on the papers to prevent any  offspring being registereed (which can always be removed should the pup turn out a good one and pass it's health tests, and the owner is willing to do things properly).

In my breed it is now normal practice to place the endorsements 'progeny not eligible for registration' and 'not eligible for the issue of an export pedigree'.  It is explained to the owners in writing, and also under which circumstances they can be removed.

I do hope things get sorted, it is sad when the new owner breeder relationship fails as the breeder should be there for the new owner to help and guide them, and is ususally a valuable resource.

"thought doing it through club like this would be respectable breeders"

"pup bought through this site..no kc papers.(they deny saying they would send!!)"

i think you are under the impression that champdogs is a breeder!! it sounds like it anyway!!!

i dont see how you can blame a dog message board for selling you an un-registered puppy!
- By loveheart [gb] Date 10.01.05 15:13 UTC

Dont think I am condoning this behaviour for one minute, but just wanted to ask whether there is anything wrong in designing/printing pedigrees yourself on a computer? I have done this with my pedigrees (would hasten to add that registrations etc all went with puppies), just to make them a little more "personal" with pictures of sire, dam and new puppy.
- By loveheart [gb] Date 10.01.05 23:06 UTC
hello.
Thank you for that..I know what you meen...but mine was nothing..but a peice thin printer paper ? she did say sorry there is hardley any ink in the printer..as i have not had chance to get any pedigree forms..and I will do you one..as she had found some papers in her attic..and would send..again nothing!!

Well seeing as i am the breeder in question i thought i should join in. Those of you who would like to know more on this topic and see my referance from the south wales pom club please feel free to e-mail me.Zoeslocombe@hotmail.com
Maria was sold a puppy as a pet at a pet price. She was sent a copy of the prdigree from the kennel club. She was never allowed to have the registration papers as i have been advised not to hand them out by some of the top breeders in poms with all the puppies i sell. Maria has been harrassing me with hundreds on e-mails and a number of threats which included a vist from her brother in law and his pit bulls. She also told me she had the puppy tested for everthing and somthing came up in the bloods. I don't know what as i was under instruction not to answer any of her e-mails. I had to choose to refuse on my phone to stop the calls of abuse. Any way the day after telling me there was somthing wrong with the dog she advertises him as a stud! You can all make of it what you will. IF any of you would like to know more feel free to mail me.
Regards
Zoe
Oh and i did offer a refund for the dog as this has become an obsession and the dog no longer seams important to her as she has told me to come and get him a number of times and also told the police officer.
