Hi all,
well theres been a debate on a different forum about if a 8weeks old pup and 1 yr old,
being left home for 12hrs a day with nobody going in during that time to check all well,i personally think it bloody bad, leaving such a young dogs are infact leaving any dog 12hrs atime, also what about feeding they will be feeding the pup raw as they do there other dog, twice a day is this normal for raw feeding????
as ive always been told to feed young pups 4 times a day as they do better with smaller meals, this person is in the usa if that makes any difference, and this on this other site have become very personal,
thanks for listening im just very mad
Mandy.

i personally think 12 hours a day is FAR too long to leave a dog of any age, whats the point of having a dog if your out all the time?

So they leave the dogs for 12 hours and lets say sleep for 8...doesn't leave much time to spend with the dogs does it!!
I'm with you...too long what ever the age!

I guess six months down the line there will be a rescue society with another dog to rehome. :( Socialisation will not happen and house training is out of the question. Lets face it, there is no one at home to do either. What on earth was the person thinking of? I bet the idea of getting the pup was not because they wanted it as much as the ill-conceived idea that it would somehow "Keep the other dog company." A stuffed toy would be a better bet. You wonder sometimes what some people do for brains?
