tara is almost 8,border collie,a rescue.
if her head is in the present position ie straight on to me,& her eyes turn to someone else,so that i see the whites of her eyes,in one of them is a dark mark,possibley a bleed? its small & a irregular shape,hard to really say how big it is,bigger than a millimetre in diameter but not bigger than 2mm

anybody seen anything like this before i take her to mrVets

ive just heard that it could be a corneal <sp?> cyst?????
any body know anything about them??????

Even though she is a rescue collie you might be better of going to see a specialist eye examiner, as we have come across misdiagnosis from ordinary vets on a few occassions. At our recent eye testing session in Haddenham we had two collies turn up which had been seen by an ordinary vet and both had been misdiagnosed. One was receiving treatment it didn't need while the other was not receiving treatment it needed!

Btw,i only say shes a rescue because it just means i have no idea if she was eyetested as a pup or the state of her parents eyes!!!!!-not because i dont want to spend money on her! bless! ive had her 6 years now!
