ive got a 'dominant' male lab, a 'dominant' female sweddish vallhund and another 14 month old male lab, who is the omega of the pack and a 'dominant' bitch who is 6 months old-this is where the problem lies. (btw the dogs belng to different people in the house but the gsp belongs to me)
last night the vallhund was eating her tea, and shes a bit food agressive to other animals but not to people and the pup put her head in the bowl while the vallhund was eating-this just meant the vallhund ate her food a bit faster but didnt do anything to remove the pup from her bowl. it only went on for a maximum of a couple of seconds before i removed the pup from the bowl. then this morning, i was giving all the dogs a treat before leaving the house and the pup removed the treat from the 'dominant' dogs mouth and he didnt bother about it.
this is not really bothering me, because the lab is very like a dad to the pup and i think the pup still has a 'puppy licence' but the people who i live with are telling me that i should not let it happen because it's going to lead to problems etc which is making me slightly concerned.
as well as this, the lab pup has seperatin anxiety, which everyone knows about and he is crated during the day, but if we let him out and go upstairs , he will chew anything but it is the pup that gets told off, when she has not done anything, because it happens when she is not there as well.
sorry this is going on, but it is really getting to me now, because it seems that everything she does is wrong, she is clean in the house 4 upto 5 hours and yesterday we came back to find one mess in the corner, and she got tld off-not by me though, i just put her outside so i could clean up. i do not know what to do, because surely i can have the say over how i treat my own dg? r does that happen any more?
thank you for any replies

I think the people you live with need to get more dog wise as some of what they do will contribute to problems - telling dogs off after the event, (no doubt they think the dog "knows what it has done" ) and I would not be surprised if they have caused the labs anxiety due to this attitude. Dogs will anticipate trouble and get upset about owners returning, which creates conflict.
As for the lab chewing, whydont they barricade him from upstairs and also use chew preventative or oil of cloves, Vicks etc? They are being very silly - and i do hope the lab is not created all day - maximum should be 4 ours in a big crate and after a walk, etc.
If the people you live with won't listen, try to maybe sort out some of the problems yoiurself, eg get some chew preventative. Buy some kongs to stuff etc etc.
I tend to agree about the food bowl though, once the pup licence goes the dog may get a stern warning from another dog; also it's not really fair on the other dogs :)
Good luck
