my pup was born on the 1st of june this year does this mean i can enter him for companion shows from the 1st of december onwards and is exemption the same as companion ? thankyou.

The KC changed the name of exemption shows to companion shows a few years ago and added the option of more classes so for most of us "exemption" still comes much more readily to mind than does "companion".

And yes, you can show your dog in any show on or after 1st December .
